A week long climbing adventure that begins witha day long fundamentals climbing course taught close to home at Brooklyn Boulders. The following day, the group takes off to Trail Blazers (Montague, NJ), to prepare for a hiking and climbing adventure in Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area! Here, they will camp out, while putting their newly acquired climbing skills to the test on various natural rock. On the way, they will play endless games, cook meals over a camp fire, sing songs, and make friends that last a lifetime, and did we mention S’mores too?

Who are we?

Trail Blazers is the second oldest summer camp in the United States and the oldest one to offer adventure style programming, for boys and girls, age 7 – 17. We have provided exciting adventures since 1887 and celebrated 125 years of youth programming this past year. Trail Blazers is an American Camp Association accredited camp and meets all local and state health department standards. Our primary concern is that your child’s camp journey is a safe one from beginning to end, reflected in our certified and professional staff. During enrollment, you will meet some of our staff who will prepare you and your child for the experience.

We are teaming team up with the only dedicated rock climbing gym in New York City, Brooklyn Boulders. With over 20,000 square feet of bouldering and climbing walls, Brooklyn Boulders is also the largest climbing space in New York.

Together, Trail Blazers and Brooklyn Boulders offer the best in outdoor adventures in the Tri-State area. The program is offered at two levels:

Senior: 15-17 years old

Junior: 12-14 years old

Cost

$50 Registration plus:

$750 until April 1

$850 until May 1

$900 until June 1

$950 FULL PRICE after June 1
