Through funding provided by the NJ Department of Children and Families Trail Blazers will offer a unique residential life skills summer camp program for DYFS adolescents, ages 16 to 21 years old this summer. In this unique and exciting program campers will participate in daily life skills workshops facilitated by local volunteer professionals with backgrounds in the fields of banking, management, government, food service, education, medicine, and nutrition, while enjoying the usual excitement of a summer spent at Trail Blazers; campfires, swimming, backpacking expeditions, boating and so much more. It will be a summer to remember!
Each session will host 20 Life Skills campers:
Session 1: July 2 – July 13
Session 2: July 18 – August 1
Session 3: August 3 – August 17
